Came to the travel clinic here and was very impressed. I saw Alena who was incredibly thorough and took time to explain everything to me. The standard of care was much higher than that I have received at other high street pharmacy clinics.

I came here on two occasions in the last couple of months. On both occasions I’d had my wisdom teeth extracted on each side of my mouth, and I walked here straight after.

And on both occasions each of the pharmacists I saw were unnecessarily rude to me when all I did was hand my prescription to them and asked if the tablets were in stock.

As a fellow healthcare worker, please do not take out your work stress on your customers - we pay your bills.

Came in here to get some razor blades and there were plenty of options. Other than that I noticed this is a pretty good branch of Boots and well stocked with the all the usual basics. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful

Today I bought toilet water. and the cashier gave incorrect information. the price on the website was 18 pounds, and in the store 39, I asked what the actual price is, the saleswoman said 39 pounds, I asked another cashier he checked and said 18 pounds. cashier woman was not attentive and not competent!

AVOID. Especially if a cashier named “Eduardo” is on shift. God forbid you ask him a simple query: expect to offend, as if finishing your short sentence with information that could help him better understand what you were referring to was grounds for rudeness. Dare to ask for help with one of their machines and he’ll fob you off as if he has no idea why you’d mistaken him for someone who worked there (the elderly lady asking was lost for words to be treated with such contempt). Attempt to pay at the till because you need the items behind it and watch this cashier fall over himself interrupting you to divert you to a self-service till, before snapping “well, why didn’t you say so?!” when he finally realises you actually had a perfectly valid reason for standing there patiently waiting for him to finish being discourteous to another customer. He put so much energy into giving attitude, being obnoxious and desperately shying away from doing his job that he made several serious and worrying errors (sackable offences, anywhere else), including his assumption of the medicine I wished to purchase (which he thought I hadn’t noticed he’d scanned and then had to delete when I was finally permitted (!) to list precisely what I wanted) that ended up causing him more work and me stress having to check the receipt afterwards that he hadn’t scammed me after all. And, for a cashier who, it turns out, can’t even tell their left from right, you have to wonder what makes him believe he has the right to be quite so arrogant. Reading other Boots' reviews now, unprofessional obnoxious staff appears to be the norm, particularly at this branch. PLEASE stop employing idiots, Boots. Your reputation for the lack of service (or just basic respect) in “customer service” has been notorious for many years now. DO BETTER.

I have been here twice now for a three dose vaccination for work. The Pharmacist is a lovely lady who has so much time for me. As a frontline healthcare worker I can really appreciate how challenging her job can be. It's nice to share some accounts of those challenges. I've popped in for other things from time to time and find the store to be generally bright, tidy, well stocked and the staff very helpful.

It might not be the biggest Boots but very good for grabbing what you need as they have the necessities from health to beauty products. I also never had to wait long. The manager (?) a tall, black man - is very friendly and helpful.
