Really good experience - I went to Dr. Amy Matte as a new patient today and was very happy with how they treated me. Dr. Matte and her staff were friendly, on time, and professional. The office is small and simple, clean, and organized.

I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Matte handled the entire appointment - from the initial oral cancer screening to the cleaning to the follow up information. I didn't feel like she rushed through any part of it, and it was the least painful cleaning I have ever experienced (I'm not usually sensitive about cleanings, but they weren't exactly comfortable -- Dr. Matte had such a gentle touch I could barely feel the cleaning).

The best part, to me, is that Dr. Matte took the time before and after the appointment to make sure she understood my needs and that I understood what care she recommended. I did have a trouble spot and they set a treatment plan for that, but I left feeling confident that it was the right thing to do without any of that feeling of dread or confusion that sometimes follows a dental appointment. I'll update my review later on if anything changes, but after my first visit I am so impressed I wanted to leave a review for others like me who are looking for a good dentist.

I LOVE Dr. Matte! I have always had an irrational fear of dentists since I was a child--some traumatic incident I don't really remember--but she was referred to me by a co-worker and she is the greatest. I never miss my appointments. She makes sure I stay within my comfort zone. I can't even imagine going to anyone else. She rocks!!!
