My daughter went up to Cedar Michigan specifically to go to Dana’s shop to order me a September birthstone ring. She noticed the Leland blue ring that was highlighted on instagram was still available and called me to ask if I wanted that instead as it was my size. I said yes! I absolutely love it and it is more beautiful in person than it was on the instagram reel. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a unique style of jewelry that you can only find at Dana’s shop.

This may sound weird, so here goes...As an anxious person, I tended to pick at my fingers until they bled. This improved a little after wearing this Chevron respo ring that I would shake, shake, shake just to watch the wires and listen to the "tink, tink, tink". It helped refocus my attention. Then get this, after wearing it for almost a year, I have been slowing my shake to a rhythmic wave, like a dance. Now, instead of me slamming the wires into an end all at once, back and forth and back and forth, I now watch them sort of slowly synchronize. And their sound marries the movement with more of a wind chime/meditation frequency. I feel more grounded. It's amazing, like SUPER Amazing! Thank you!!

Every year, @acj.org.uk has a #ringsmackdown. A #battleoftherings where fantastic metalsmiths are selected to show their work and compete for votes by the masses. This is where I saw Dana’s work and was mesmerized! Her kinetic jewelry is created with precision and ingenuity. Dana was responsive and quickly filled my request. I absolutely love my ring❤️

Dana is VERY creative! I think every piece of jewelry in her store has the ability to move, slide, turn or twist. Everything is kinetic in some way! It's delicate work, that stands up to the everyday.

She was patient with me and helped guide me through the process of customizing one of her kinetic rings for a Christmas gift. I am VERY excited by the final design elements.

While jewelry design and fabrication is difficult by itself, Dana seems to be attracted to the next challenge.... Especially if it moves!
