Very bad service I bought 2 Photo B10 lights one morning one of the lights made a loud bang. I assumed it was just a tube and took it into get an estimate for repair was given a quote of over £1400 The list on the repair included almost every part of the internal elements for a light that is worth around £1700 I sent took it to another repair company and have successfully repaired the unit for £402

This morning I made my first visit to Fixation in their 'new to me' location on Kennington Lane. I have been very slowly moving into the digital camera world but after a really great practical introduction to the latest mirrorless examples from Andrea Favazzi I'm about ready to speed up the decision making. Very happy to be have been back, after much too long.

There is a Wex store in the basement here stocking new and used cameras, similar to the one in East London but smaller. Within a 30s art deco style warehouse/ factory building. I guess the repair area is upstairs.
Dealt with an Italian guy who was fantastic. Worth a visit.

The staff at Fixation are very helpful. I was helped by Andrea when looking for some advice about investing in a new camera. He took the time out to show me which cameras might suit my needs and any equipment I needed to go with it. Top marks for customer service. I'll be back for sure

i have been (and still am) a Fixation customer for many years, sadly there isn't the need to use them these days as often as i used to.
the staff in the sales room probably don't know me as it is well over a year since my last visit.
last week i had a problem with one on my nikon z bodies and the autofocus no longer working.
i was up in london last wednesday and dropped in on the shop in kennington fully prepared to leave the camera with the repair dep.
Andrea in the sales department took a look at the body and within a couple of minutes he got it all working again - i must have inadvertently changed a setting in the camera which blocked the autofocus.
i suppose i should have known how to cure the problem but i didn't.
big thanks to Andrea who was happy to help with a smile !

Had my Tamron lense repaired in February. Manual focus was working at a time and its something i barely use. After repair, i havent checked whether it was working or not, to only realize in my trip that manual focus was not working.

Under their terms and conditions, its my fault and its not covered under warranty, but de-facto i have to repair the lens twice. Pirate behaviour where you need to check your lens with your lawyer before trusting this company. Zero ethics, abusive customer relationship.

Lady on the phone who attended to give me the bad news is a lovely polite person though. Given its emergency and i am going on a trip, im having this fixed again. Going forward, i would not trust this organization for this dubious record of this level of reputation. Shameful.
