Visited there a few weeks ago, because my MAC liquid foundation and base are getting less. The lady who caught us near the entrance was really nice. She showed me some new products that are similar to my discontinued ones. So I've bought a new liquid foundation and base which I really like, better then my old ones.
I love MAC products, because the variety of colors and quality. I'll come back to this store again!!

Agree with the comments below on the service. Lady, who was there at noon on October 22nd was incredibly unknowledgable and rude. When I asked whether they might have a lipstick shade I lied in mini, she answered along the lines: “You can Google it, mama”. Like seriously?! Then when I asked her to help me do it, she did it after some time of coming up with reasons why I can do it my self, and said she found it, showing me a different shade available at Ulta. After I commented on bad service and was leaving, she started telling to my back “help yourself” kind of thing. Felt as if I went to some cheap market. Absolutely bad mood afterwards. And I just came for my online order and was willing to pick more items. I wish I just ordered home delivery. I would love to not have this kind of people working in client facing role.

I really believe that there are different sets of employees on different days. I had a horrible experience here. Both of the employees were the opposite of what the brand should represent and the store was completely empty. The staff were extremely unprofessional like they were on the street and not on the clock. I have never had an experience like that in a store ever. You have to meet your customers with grace and patience. I will advise everyone to find another location to shop in.

I had the BEST experience here! I don’t have a large understanding of makeup and trends, and I just wanted to learn more information on a natural “no makeup” makeup look. I signed up for a 15 minute makeup tutorial at this location on a Sunday at 1:30 PM and I basically had a private makeup tutorial! My makeup artist was Piffany J and she could not have been nicer. She was extremely knowledgeable about skincare and foundation (our main focus) and listened to me and answered all of my questions! She made me feel so comfortable in a space where I often feel like a complete newbie! I didn’t feel like I was being talked down to at all and she really took the time to help me recreate the look at home. Everyone in the store was so kind and encouraging of one another and it was such a fun atmosphere to be in. I’ll definitely be back!

The sales associate at Mac Columbus Circle NYC fails to reflect the high quality synonymous with their products and brand image. Their lack of product knowledge and disinterested demeanor undermines the customer experience. It's imperative that senior management addresses this discrepancy promptly or considers transitioning the entire operation online to maintain the integrity of the Mac brand.

I went to this location about two weeks ago and the sales rep was very helpful but one of the many items I got happened to be the incorrect shade. Went back to exchanged it for the correct shade, and was giving such a hard time to do an even exchange for the same item - correct shade with receipt.

The Store Manager and Assistant were the ones helping me and I was blown away with their customer service just horrible. They said I had to paid more because they gave me a discount. Which is nuts being that they were one that handed me the incorrect item since they are ones that grab it not the customer. It’s sad since there’s barely any MAC stores left you will think that they will probably great service.

I went a few days ago and everyone was so nice! I know/knew very little about makeup and the people working there were super helpful, kind, and nonjudgemental. They made a big effort to find the products I was interested in and answered all my questions. Kelly even showed me a simple makeup routine (for free!) that I liked the look of that I managed to replicate at home two days later.
