I ordered through Sweet C’s website for a birthday and I was behind on ordering due to my kids being sick. Celia was extremely kind despite it being a last minute order that was 100% my fault.

She had 2 dozen cupcakes for me and they were delicious. Everyone loved them - from the adults to the kids at the party. I always order extra cupcakes to bring home in case I can’t sit down at the party and enjoy a cupcake. I only have 2 left over and now have to share with the kids?! Not happy. Next time I’m giving myself a 6 cupcake buffer instead of 4.

Very easy to communicate with, is on time for pick up the cupcakes and you can still upload a design like she had in store. 10/10 recommend. We went with chocolate cupcakes and a vanilla buttercream. The cupcake will so soft and the buttercream was perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. Very well balanced cupcake.

The customer service and the cupcakes were both outstanding. Placing my cupcake order for my birthday today with a 1/2 dozen cookie kit for Halloween.

I love our hometown shops! Sweet Cs has been a staple in Palatine and one of my favorite places. Today I went to pick up a balloon order and ended up talking to the owner about future business ideas. She’s the best! Always greeted with kindness and she never forgets my name!! She offers military discounts (thank you for honoring their service) too. If you haven’t stopped in, go grab one of her delicious treats. You won’t be disappointed! She is one of the hardest working people 💜

Wonderful local bakery. We got our twins first birthday cake and cupcakes to send to daycare. They were beautiful and delicious. The cake was lemon with raspberry filling and it was one of the most moist lemon cakes we have ever had. I was worried when I saw how saturated the buttercream was with the colors that it wouldn't taste good, but it was soft and yummy. We will definitely be coming back.

Celia was so amazing to work with! She had so much knowledge and answered questions I didn't even know I had. She explained so much to me when I was calling other bakeries and not receiving half of the details that she was explaining. I appreciated it so much. The cookies tasted absolutely delicious and were just absolutely stunning they made my bridal shower so much fun! Everybody love them I'm still getting text messages!!

It seems there are a lot of establishments that can make a beautiful cake, but Sweet C's made a beautiful *and* delicious wedding cake for us. The cake was moist (even the day after) and the filling complimented it perfectly. And we're not talking about a razor-thin-barely-there skimpy filling, no ma'am! There was probably 3/4" thick layer of filling in each of the 3 tiers. Celia was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. Did I mention, the cake was delicious?! Highly, highly recommend!

I did the unthinkable and forgot to pick up my custom cake yesterday!!! After missing multiple phone calls and texts from the owner, Celia (I did not have my phone near me), I realized my blunder well after the bakery closed but called back anyway in a huge panic. I needed the cake for today, Memorial Day, but the bakery is closed on holidays (and Mondays) so I needed it a day early. To my surprise, not only did Celia promptly answer my call, but she immediately made the trip back to her bakery so that I could get my son's birthday cake. Not once on the phone or in person did she make me feel bad for the trouble I caused her in coming back to her shop. In fact, she reassured me that it was totally fine and that I did not need to be upset about it. Multiple times I tried to offer her extra money as a tip/apology, but she kindly refused. After showing me a most perfectly decorated cake, she carefully wrapped it up to keep its freshness. She had every right to rush me out, but she did not. She reminded me how to transfer the cake home, how to store it once I got home, and when to take the cake out for the party.

Today we got to enjoy this amazingly moist white cake with sweet raspberry filling. It was the highlight of the party! I have been going to Celia's the last three years because of the attention to detail--in the taste and in the overall execution--but now I will go for another reason: because Celia truly cares for her customers and is willing to go the extra mile for them (literally!).
